Tidewater Troubadour, Bob Zentz is, a singer of Songs, Old & New, about people, places and times gone by. His Songs and Tales of- 'The Sea, the Ship and the Sailor', are told and sung with a sense of History, Humanity And Humor. This Award-winning Songwriter, Recording Artist, Educator and Sailor, plays more than 50 of the usual, and unusual 'unplugged' folk Instruments, knows over 2000 songs & tunes and has performed on Radio, TV, in Film & on Concert Stages...around the Planet!
11:15 AM - Connie Mason

Connie Mason is a native of Carteret County who has spent her professional career working as a historian/folklorist for the NC Maritime Museum (17 years) and more recently as the maritime heritage tourism officer for the NC Department of Commerce. She is also a talented singer, musician, and storyteller who enjoys singing traditional and original music and telling the coastal stories associated with them. Her lively program entitled, A Little Bit of Music Helps the History Go Down includes sing-a-longs, pirate songs, whale songs, and songs about eating oysters to make you taste the salt in the air and feeling the roll of the deck under your feet!
12:30 PM - Rodney Kemp - Fish House Liar

Award-winning storyteller and historian, Rodney Kemp presentation, "GENTLE ON MY MIND", is a collection of stories, poems, and songs about people and places of Carteret County that he has gathered through the years. As a "fish house liar" he does not let the truth stand in the way of a good punch line. Audiences of all ages love Rodney, noting that his talks always leave them with a "warm and fuzzy" feeling.
1:45 PM - The Bogue Sounds

This talented group of musicians plays a toe tapping mixture of original and traditional, Celtic and old time tunes on a wide variety of instruments including guitar, mandolin, fiddle, bass, flute, pennywhistle, bodhran, and dulcimer. Since forming, 10+ years ago, they have been in increasing demand to play for concerts, festivals, dances, and parties in around the county and across the state. Most recently, their lively performances have charmed audiences at the Seafood Festival and at the Fort Macon Summer Concert Series.
3:30 PM - The Pyrates Royale

Join the Pyrates Royale as they celebrate twenty-three years of musical mayhem. From the Great Lakes, down to the Caribbean, and from the Mississippi River to the Chesapeake Bay, this band of musical miscreants has pillaged and charmed audiences with their own special presentation of folk songs from the maritime tradition. The Pyrates perform in costume and come armed with guitar, fiddle, mandolin, hammered dulcimer, bodhran and concertina, as well as a hearty chorus of hale and harmonious voices.
