FROM THE WEST:
Take Hwy. 70 through Morehead City to Beaufort. Turn right at the first stoplight in Beaufort. Proceed three blocks on Turner Street to the waterfront business district. Turn right and proceed one-half block on Front Street. The museum is on the right. Parking in the rear.

FROM THE OUTER BANKS:
Take the ferry from Ocracoke to Cedar Island. Hwy. 12 turns into Hwy 70 at Atlantic. Take Hwy. 70 to Beaufort and continue straight through second stoplight (rather than continuing on 70). Continue straight on Live Oak Street to the waterfront. Turn right onto Front Street, following the waterfront for five-and-one-half blocks. The museum is on the right.
