Event Rentals - Beaufort

This waterfront venue is a unique setting with acres for tents, music, food and fun!  Weddings, birthdays, family reunions: anything is possible with this open feature, capable of being dressed up or toned down. The Great Lawn offers wonderful scenic views of the Intracoastal Waterway. Cool summer breezes with glorious sunsets make this site a romantic choice for your wedding.

Note:  tents and bathroom accommodations are the responsibility of the renter.

When the saws and sanders are quiet, the Watercraft Center is transformed into a beautiful hall with scenic views of Taylor’s Creek. Whether your event is a casual pig picking or a formal affair, the concepts for this rustic venue are limitless.

Note: The docks are not available for public access unless guests are participating in some type of approved boating activity or program as part of a special event.

The entire Museum (Exhibit Hall, Lobby and Auditorium) is available for those who would like your guests to enjoy the full range of settings while celebrating your special day.

The perfect indoor wedding reception or meeting site!  Locate your bar by the Blackbeard Exhibit, and dance on flooring that resembles a ship’s deck. The Auditorium seats 100 guests comfortably. Amenities include  a LCD television and a wireless microphone for announcements or toasts. Your guests can enjoy happy hour in the Lobby while the wedding party is off having pictures made. The Auditorium also provides a great setting for holiday parties or educational symposiums. A screen and power point are available upon request.

The Library is a cozy and inviting space to hold small meetings or round table discussions.  Internet capable with a conference table, projection screen, 4 wing-back chairs, and couch; the library will give your meeting a polished look.

Fee: $25.00 per hour – during Museum hours of operation
$75.00 per hour – after-hours event

Note that total time rented includes setup, meeting, and cleanup.

Required Deposit: Half of the total rental charges up to $200.
