13th annual "Fall in the Water Meet," Beaufort

FallintheWaterSmall boats will be on show for the 13th annual “Fall in the Water Meet” with the North Carolina Maritime Museum in Beaufort on Saturday, Oct. 15. The traditional boating meet makes a splash from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Museum’s Gallants Channel site. “This is an opportunity to see, and sail or row a variety of small craft,” said Brent Creelman, Director of Operations for the Friends of the North Carolina Maritime Museum in Beaufort. All small boats owners and enthusiasts are welcome. Free rides on the Museum’s spritsail skiffs will be offered to the public. An informal pig pickin’ will also be open to the public from noon to 1:30 p.m., for $10 per person. Proceeds benefit the Friends of the North Carolina Maritime Museum in Beaufort.
